Glass Floors
No need to worry, floors made of laminated and toughened glass are safe and strong.
Small glass inserts or big floors with metal substructure. Transparent, tinted or frosted glass.
Glass floors from our portfolio:
‘Real’ Glass Floors
This type of floor substitutes any other floor - concrete, timber or metal one. You can walk on it, put furniture on it.
Usually this type of floors has metal substructure which holds the loads.
Decorative glass floors
You can have a niche in your floor covered with glass and fill it with any decorative items. Stones, sand, toys, artificial plants or even some advertising materials - whatever you like.
There is still a ‘real‘ floor under the glass, so the structure that supports the glass can be much lighter.

Glass steps
Not exactly a floor, but it is still glass you can step on.
Toughened laminated glass with minimum of three layers of thick glass is used.
Glass podiums
The glass is raised above the non-glass floor.
Types of glass support
Laminated glass panels of the floor can be laid directly on the cross members of the metal structure using spacers.
An alternative is adjustable point supports. They are usually made of stainless steel and help line up the glass perfectly.
Materials
The most common metals for the glass floor substructure are steel and stainless steel.
Only laminated glass with 3 or more layers of glass is used for non-decorative floors. Glass panels can be transparent, tinted or frosted.
