My name is Sergei, I am the founder of Active Glass business.
I have 23 years of experience in engineering, producing and installing of glass constructions.
With experience in installing and designing frameless glass, we offer highest quality service. When it comes to reliability and compliance, we don’t compromise.
At the moment Active Glass is a capable team, backed up by trusted suppliers, ready to service Canberra and surrounding regions.
We are fully equipped for installations of high quality glass balustrades, pool fences, shower screens and more complex frameless glass.
My journey in glass industry started in 1999.
20 years ago I founded a company named Maxi Glass.
We started from simple things – glass doors, partitions and shower screens.
Gradually we added more advanced products to our range: indoor and outdoor glass balustrades, glass awnings, glass floors and staircases, panoramic elevators glazing and other beautiful things that can be made from glass and metal.
We did small and big jobs, from single shower screen to big malls indoor glazing with thousands square meters of glass partitions and balustrades.
After moving to Canberra I founded Active Glass, a business that operates to the highest standards of quality and service.

Only the right type of fasteners. Professional tools for marking up, drilling, cutting and glass carrying.
If needed, we’ll cover floor and furniture near the place of installation. No mess after the work is finished.
Australian Standards compliance
This is bare minimum for everything that is sold or built in Australia. Most of the time they are simple and straightforward.
They save you from too thin glass in your window or from balustrade that is too low to be safe.
All the hardware, glass, fasteners and the whole product in general will comply and sometimes exceed all of the applicable Australian Standards.
