Veranda glass balustrade on top mount spigots

Top mount spigots

Spigots (or mini-posts) made of stainless steel are the most common choice for areas where you need gap between glass and floor - pool zones, balconies or verandas are good examples.

Spigots are available in different colors and designs. Polished, satin or black finish, round or square - whatever you like most.

Glass railing with corner mount spigots

Corner mount spigots

Spigots of this type are installed on the edge of the floor or balcony. They are fixed to the vertical surface.

Glass panels are also placed on the edge, so all the floor space is available.

Balustrade with side mount spigots

Side mount spigots

These spigots are completely invisible from the inside - you only see the glass rising from the floor.

Just like corner mount spigots, side spigots help saving area of the floor.

Glass balustrade on stainless steel standoffs

Standoffs

Perfect way to fix the glass to any vertical surface, like the edges of treads, floor slabs or walls.

When installed on the stairs, this type of balustrade does not steal the width of the steps.

Many types and finishes of standoffs allow you to choose the right one that will fit your design.

Bottom channel for glass balustrades

Bottom channel

Glass is firmly fixed in bottom channel which stands on the floor or fixed to any other structure. No bottom gap.

There are many types of bottom channels for different surfaces and loads. We choose the right one for every task.

Balustrade made of curved glass

Curved balustrades

Using of curved glass is possible with spigots or standoffs. Such balustrade follows the line of your balcony or stair.

This type of balustrades requires precise measurements and installation. This is what we know how to do.

Custom engineered glass balustrade

Custom balustrades

Some balustrades simply do not fit in any particular type. That does not mean they cannot be made.

Bigger size, non-rectangular glass, non-vertical posts - you got the point.

If you want something outstanding, we probably can make it, if it is not against the laws of physics and Australia.

Some balustrades require engineering approval - we can organize it.

Best answer is the sooner the better.

Sometimes it is very important to reinforce the place of installation, or install some hardware before you have finishing materials like tiles or decking boards installed.

It is much easier to do it when you are on early stages of renovation or construction.

We will provide you with all the necessary support and the optimal work plan.

Handrail options

In most cases we recommend installing handrail. It makes the balustrade more rigid and gives additional protection to the glass, in addition to your comfort. The final choice is yours - we have plenty of shapes and sizes!

  • No handrail

Maximum transparency. Toughened laminated glass must be used in some cases.

  • Top handrail

Installed on top edge of the glass. There are many options: square 25x21mm, round 25mm, 38mm and 50mm.

  • Side handrail

Connected to the glass with the brackets. Can be placed on comfortable height.
